Monica Ali was Chair of this year's Man Asian Literary Prize, and is now a member of the Advisory Council. Monica is Chair of the judging panel for the Royal Society Winton Prize for popular science. The winner will be announced in November 2011. She is also one of the judges for this year's Guardian First Book Award.
